We visit organ transplant recipients at various hospitals, in/and around Detroit, with a 'basket of hope.' It is filled with items to help fill the long days in the hospital and items to help stay focused on relaxing once home. Our hospital visits establish an emotional connection, bringing comfort simply by our presence and sharing ideas, one-on-one, about the future of Aarolyns House of Hope.
A group of transplant recipients, seasoned by time, share their thoughts with Aarolyn each month. Conversations center around the needs of transplant recipients and their caregivers. These sincere talks provide direction in bringing the vision of Aarolyns House of Hope to reality. The camaraderie is priceless!
We need your support! Please share your housing experience by completing Aarolyns House of Hope Survey. It will take just 10 minutes of your time and the data will be so valuable in providing proof that a 'brick & mortar' house is sorely needed for transplant recipients and their caregivers in the Detroit area. Both recipients and caregivers are welcome to complete the survey. And, we would love if you would help spread the word about the survey!
